In order to decrease the burden of tracking disconnected patients in your medical center, SMARTVIEW offers to notify patients that are not connected anymore, by sending them a text message (SMS).
All wireless patients of the healthcare facility are eligible i.e. patients that have a wireless transmitter, provided they have indicated a mobile phone number at patient enrollment.
Sending SMS to disconnected patients and all corresponding options are available in the CLINIC PROFILE page.
SMARTVIEW checks for the period of patient disconnection. If it exceeds the threshold specified in the CLINIC PROFILE, a text message will be sent, inviting the patient to reconnect.
If at this moment, a follow-up is also expected from the patient, the message to the patient also tells them to perform a manual transmission.
Reminder text messages may be configured; reminder text messages are identical to the initial messages. They invite patients to reconnect if they are still not connected after a couple of days. they can be configured in the CLINIC PROFILE.
